In Manali, jogini falls is a prominent sightseeing attraction located at altitude of 2,050 m and the best months (or season) to visit there coincides with that of the destination itself. Jogini Waterfall Trek Route:                                                                                                       The trek to Jogini Waterfall begins at Vashisht Temple. Tourists prefer to reach the temple by public transport or self-driven vehicles. The parking area at the temple can be used for parking vehicles. It requires trekking for about 2 kilometres to reach the Jogini Waterfall. Trekkers need to take a narrow lane adjacent to the temple. This lane passes through Pine Tree plantations and beautiful Apple Orchards. As one walks through the alley, they can get a beautiful view of River Bead and Rohtang.
Best time to visit Jogini Waterfall
The best time to visit Jogini Waterfall is during the summer season, i.e. between March and May and during the winters, i.e. between October and February. The temperature drops considerably low during the winters while it stays pleasant throughout the summer and both the seasons make the trek to the waterfall an incredible adventure.

How to Reach Jogini Waterfall
Tourist can take public transport to Vashisht Temple. Auto rickshaws, buses, and taxis are the best modes of public transportation in Manali. It is around 5 km away from Manali main market to Vashisht

Bir Billing is also known as ‘Paragliding capital of India’
Bir is a small town located in the state of Himachal Pradesh in northern India. Bir Billing is a popular destination for adventures sports such as paragliding, treks and also as the town for meditation.Bir being a hill station has a cold climate throughout the year.Trekking to Himachali tribal villages, Mountain Biking, Angling and Camping.
Bir Billing is located 70 km. from Dharamshala. Billing is situated north of Bir at the distance of 14 km. on the way to the Thamsar Pass trek, which is leading to Bada Bhangal, tribal region of Himachal Pradesh. Bir is mainly a Buddhist town and houses a monastery.

By Air:
No Direct air service to Bir Billing.Gaggal Airport which is also known as Kangra airport(68 Km).

By Rail:
There is no direct rail connectivity to Bir. The nearest station is gauge station is in Pathankot, which is 112.4 km. away from Bir. Kangra Valley Railway runs a toy train every morning which will get you to Ahju just 3km from Bir. The train covers the 140 kms in about 7 hours.

By Road:
Bir Billing is very well connected by road to all the important towns of Himachal Pradesh including Dalhousie, Shimla etc.

Petrol Pumps on Leh-Manali highway

It always a good idea to plan your Ladakh journey well enough so that you do not come with a nightmare experience , which many everyone found during Ladakh trip.

If someone is planning for a road trip to Ladakh via Leh – Manali Highway, then the first concern is about the petrol pumps at this highway. As we know Manali to Leh route is very challenging road for bike riders. Petrol is basic fuel for the road trip and there are hardly 4 petrol pump on the entire 475 km route.

Now we are going to talk about the availability of petrol pumps between Manali and Leh. Riders can found upto 6-7 petrol pumps in Manali area or maybe more. Riders should take extra petrol cans according to there needs because without fuel (petrol or diesel) one cannot drive or ride and we all have a limited capacity fuel tank in vehicles. The mileage of the vehicles also decrease in this areas like Leh,Ladakh.

  • Once you leave from manali the next petrol pump is almost about 110 km away from Manali. Do not forget to take extra tank.
  • Karu is next petrol station that is , 345 km from Tandi and 30 km before Leh also has a petrol pump.

The Kinner-Kailash circuit

Kinnaur holds three of the world’s grand mountain ranges – the Zanskar, the Greater Himalaya and the Dhauladhar, Mount Kinner Kailash (6’050 m) dominates this region, it has religious significance for a huge “SHIVA LINGAM” the represent Lord Shiva which is a 79 feet vertical rock formation that resembles a Shivalinga and changes color as the day passes. This is one of the mythical abodes of Lord Shiva.

The circuit around the whole range attracts many pilgrims every year. The Parikrama begins from Kalpa via Triung valley and back to Kalpa via Sangla valley. Drive up to Thangi and the actual trekking begins from here.

Spiti Valley ‘The Middle Land’

The Spiti Valley is a cold desert mountain valley located high in the Himalaya mountains in the north-eastern part of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The name “Spiti” means “The Middle Land”, i.e. the land between Tibet and India.
A visit to Spiti would remain incomplete without visiting the monasteries here. The Ki/Key Monastery and the Dhankar Monastery are must-visits. For adventure enthusiasts, there are a few trekking trails and mountain biking routes that they must go for. The Chandratal lake and Surajtal lakes are some of the most beautiful lakes in the world and are among the highest lakes in the world. Best Time to Visit Spiti Valley:
Summer (March – June)
This is the best for a visit to this destination, with the temperatures rarely dropping below 15 degrees Celcius. The days are hot but pleasant if you’re visiting in the months of May & June.

Monsoon (July – September)
Although the monsoon season receives moderate to heavy rainfall, this is not exactly the best time to visit Spiti, owing to the frequent downpours and dangerous landslides

Winter (October – February)
Beginning from October, the winter season is the least advisable time for a visit to Spiti, owing to extremely chilly temperature and inhospitable roads.The roads connecting Spiti Valley to the rest of India are blocked most of the time in this season.

How to reach Spiti Valley:
By Air: There is no direct flight connectivity to Spiti Valley. The nearest airport is in Bhuntar, near Kullu, 245 km away from the same

By Rail: The nearest broad gauge railway station from Spiti which have good connectivity is in Chandigarh. Jogindernagar also has a railway station which is nearest to Spiti, but it has very poor connectivity.

By Road:
There are two route to spiti valley first via Kinnaur , second via Manali
There are many public and private buses running between Shimla and Kinnaur from 5 AM to 8 PM
You can take a Volvo run by HRTC to Manali from Chandigarh. There are two HRTC buses which runs between Manali and Kaza every morning, as soon as road to Spiti Valley via Manali get open in the season, mostly in mid-June.

Hatu Peak the best place to visit in Narkanda

Hatu Peak in Narkanda is one of its highest points and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding snow clad mountains. Best Time to Visit Hatu Temple: Mid- June to Mid- October.Temperature may be around ( 12°C and 20°C). But during winter it falls to (-2°C and 6°C).

How to reach Hatu Temple:
By Air: Jubarhati, which is about 80 kilometres from the Narkanda.

By Rail: There are no regular trains from other major cities to Narkanda. Nearest train station is Shimla.

By Road: Narkanda is well connected to other major cities of the country via regular buses.

Other things for Tourists:

The place is best suitable for trek lovers as it includes 8 km of walking distance.The Car also goes to 3km from the staring point of trek to temple to the camp where you can eat snacks like maggie,tea etc like that. If you really want to make it a good trekking don’t travel through bike and car.Go with a spirit to the Hatu Temple. At the top you can find the best ever view for photography and find peace. One jan 26 me and my office trip planned a unplanned trip to Hatu Temple.We can explained the happiness and what experience we got from that trip.
